Quote from Patricia Kirkman
Quote from a Psychic - Connecting

I asked Patricia Kirkman how she connected with her client's energy. She answered:

"I ask for their birth name and birth date. From that, I start getting information. Some of it is physical; I am writing it and looking at it. Other comes to me intuitively and I'll ask them questions. They validate the information for me. It comes from different directions. I'm not looking for anything specific, other than their name and birthday. As soon as I get that, I start receiving other information."

Foretelling Death

Foretelling Death

Three weeks ago, I wrote a blog in which I wondered how much to believe psychic predictions. Sometimes predictions come true, and sometimes they don't. You can read the "Believe it or Not?" post by scrolling down to June 1. One part of the blog wondered why psychics didn't know when someone close was about to die.

I received several interesting responses to that post. A couple of them were about the idea of knowing, in advance, someone's time of death.

One woman explained her experience with predicting death. She wrote so perfectly that I am going to quote her, but I won't use her name in case she isn't ready to be public about this. She said:

"I used to get a clear and unrelenting message whenever someone around me was going to die, to include the specifics of when and, sometimes, how. I'd also walk through a crowd and I could tell who was not long for this world. This became like having a radio only you could hear blasting doom in your ear.

"I lost a lot of family members and loved ones to tragedy and bizarre accidents over a short span of time. I'd received warnings on all of them. I was not able to ‘change,' anything; they still died. The guilt that accompanies this is horrendous. I decided that this was not a good gift, as all it allowed me to do was grieve in advance.

"I do not know the origin of these messages. It was a very clear voice that I did not know, that spoke without contractions, no ‘can't, won't, hasn't,' etc. Whatever it was, it was its own vibration, very distinct from others that, say, warn you about shady people, a coming rainstorm on a clear day, what your Mom REALLY wants for her birthday, or that you need to call your cousin. All I can assume is that it is a ‘signal,' if you will, a wavelength independent and separate from normal psychic informational flow.

"One day I firmly decided that I did not want to receive any further messages about soon-to-be dead people. I've not gotten a single message since. I still can sense them, however, only it's not as ‘loud,' and overpowering. It's just a feeling. I'll think to myself, ‘Yep, that guy has about three months . . .' and sure enough.

"I've never come across anyone else who had this ‘gift,' so I am really winging it here. I think that psychics are like any other specialty, i.e., doctors, technical folks . . . They tend to specialize in, and focus on, what is meaningful to both themselves and those they advise. In other words, their radar is tuned to humanity. Folks that get the psychic version of a verbal death card warning about other people are tuned in another direction. It's some kind of connection to a netherworld, or in-between existence, that provided me this knowledge. There was neither light nor darkness associated with it, it just . . . well . . . was.

"I've never had any interest in reopening that doorway. Again, all it seemed to do was allow me to grieve in advance and feel a degree of inappropriate responsibility that I could not mitigate. Weird thing was, the sadder I was and the more I grieved, the stronger and more frequent these messages were.

"I've since re-tuned my radar and am a much happier and peaceful person for it."

What a wonderful, thorough, explanation!

I've spoken with several other people who know in advance when someone is going to die. Two people can smell it. They say that people who are about to pass have a certain scent. Another person tells me that the soon-to-be-gone person looks "transparent" two days before they pass. A fourth person tells me that someone who is about to pass loses their aura. When she looks at someone and can't see their aura, she knows it won't be long.

Honestly, I've probably spoken with other people who also know in advance, I just can't remember how they know. If you are one of those people who know about death in advance, please e-mail me and tell me about your experience.

Another blog reader commented on the timing of death. She said that we decide when we are going to pass. Very often there is a series of small, seemingly inconsequential, decisions. Then, our Higher Self works things out on an unconscious level.

She added:

"What psychics see are lines of probability. For every event, we have many probable choices. Our physical self chooses one outcome, but the other choices continue energetically. Think of it like rays of the sun shooting out in different directions. All are equally valid. And as we change our minds, we create different futures.

"Asking a psychic is, in a way, giving away your own power because we know the answers inside if we would only listen and trust ourselves. We also create our own future in every decision we make. Our higher self follows our choices."

A different blog reader commented on the fact that a predicted baby girl arrived as a baby boy. She suggested that we wait and see if the child is gender fluid.

Thank you for your insightful comments. There is so much to know. Combining our knowledge benefits all of the blog readers.

Take care.

Responsibility

Quote from a Psychic - Responsibility

"I am responsible to the Cosmos and to the Divine for the information which I give. What a client does with the information is their business, but I am responsible for the utmost clarity and for making sure that my clients understand the information to the best of their ability. I take that responsibility very seriously."

Vacation

Vacation!

I'm back from vacation. You may have noticed that I didn't blog last week. I also missed the Psychic Fair, didn't meditate for 10 days, and didn't even check Facebook.

What did I do? I flew to Colorado with my husband and daughters for a family reunion. Then, we drove back to Tucson, visiting the wonders of the southern Utah national parks.

My trip motto? "I'm a viewer, not a do-er." We would drive to a national park, get out of our mini-van (yes, we rented a mini-van), look at the sights, take a walk, take photos, then get back in the mini-van and drive to the next site. No extended hikes. No camping in the desert. Just taking in the views, wandering around, and moving on.

In five days, we saw six national parks, and several other attractions:

Royal Gorge, CO (we rode the train!)
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, CO
Moab, Utah
Arches National Park, Utah
Canyonlands National Park, Utah
Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
Zion National Park, Utah
Glen Canyon Recreational Area, including the Glen Canyon Dam, AZ, and
Lake Powell, AZ.

Even though I didn't interview any psychics, I had a fascinating conversation with a young woman who has begun seeing, and conversing with, the deceased. While I may not have sought out psychic connections, this is still my favorite type of conversation.

In addition, I had one moment of quiet reflection in Zion National Park where I saw plants in all kinds of environments, including some growing out of rocky ledges. Nature provides the proper environment for every plant to thrive, just as Earth provides the environment for every kind of life experience we care to create.

That's what I did last week. How about you? Anything interesting going on?

Believe it or Not?

Announcement: The Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair will be this Sunday, June 4, at the DoubleTree Inn across from Reid Park. The Fair runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. I won't be set up at this Fair. I think they will be okay without me. Wink

Believe it or Not?

I believe psychics tap into a source of information which I am not privy to. However, my trust can be tested when I think they should have known in advance about something which happened, or I see that their predictions don't come true. How am I supposed to explain the lack of information when it doesn't come through, and trust the information which is shared? Should I believe it or not?

Last week, I was perplexed because:

1) A psychic friend died in March. Why didn't anyone have a clue he was going to pass?

2) Another intuitive had a tumor. Shouldn't she have received a heads up that something was amiss?

3) A friend was expecting a grandbaby. In two dreams, she clearly saw a little girl. Then the baby was born - a boy. Why would she have received the indication it was a girl when it was a boy?

4) A psychic had said that the birth was not going to be as quick and easy as anticipated. The stork would go "Ack!" That didn't happen. The grandmother told us that it had been a quick, easy, first-time birth.

5) Two years ago, a psychic said that my daughter would marry very soon and very happily. Not yet.

These situations make no sense to me. What is the point of being psychic if you don't know important things? What is the point of receiving an incorrect message? How can I have faith in any of this when the predictions are sometimes incorrect? How can I have confidence in all that I write and share?

On the other hand, I am elated when messages are correct. Yes, that happens too.

I've asked psychics why predictions don't come true. They tell me that people have free will. Often, predicted events change when people make a different choice. For example, they are going to school for archeology, then decide to go into culinary arts. They change their trajectory.

In several cases above, there was no trajectory to change. The baby boy was a baby boy. One explanation - the girl in the dream was elsewhere in the family. Hmmm.

Psychics also explain that timing is hard to predict, and that it is often difficult to read for people who are close to them. What they see can be influenced by what they want to happen for the person.

When I asked Laurie Hays why things don't always happen as predicted, she reminded me of the importance of skepticism. She told me that not everything works out in the order we think. It's important to keep an open mind, but it's also good to be a little skeptical. A little skepticism keeps us humble, keeps us practical, and keeps us intelligent. She considers the combination of a little skepticism and an open mind, healthy.

She added, "If you are always skeptical, you aren't open to anything new. If you accept everything, there is a gullibility. We need balance. I say that for all of us. I run the messages through my filter. I weigh them."

Another psychic remarked, "It's a good idea to see what a message feels like inside. There are times people say something and it doesn't feel right inside. Most of the time, messages from Spirit resonate within me. I know. Sometimes it takes a while to unfold. It isn't over 'til it's over."

In my meditation, I asked, "What am I to make of this? Sometimes people's predictions are correct and sometimes they are not."

This thought came to me: You are looking for a framework for mystical ideas. You are looking to organize the information so it makes sense. There is no sense. There is no organization. It is what it is. You can't apply a logical framework to a mass of energy. You can't put energy and ideas in a box. You can't promote psychics as infallible. They aren't. Sometimes it comes true, sometimes it doesn't. It's life. You roll with it."

Ah. Roll with it. We don't get to know everything in advance. We get hints. We make connections. We see what happens.

What have you experienced? Have the predictions you heard come true, or not? You can let me know via e-mail at gail@MyPsychicSearch.com.

High and Low Vibrational Energy

Quote from a Psychic - High and Low Vibrational Energy

"All energy has consciousness. There is a range of conscious energies, from low vibrational, dense energies with consciousness, all the way to high vibrational, or enlightened energies, with consciousness. The higher vibrational energies can move at will. They can uplift at will. They are free.

"Both kinds of vibrations are necessary for balance. That is why the higher vibrations don't normally hate the lower vibrations. They understand that, at one time, we were all low vibrations. We were lifted up, or we evolved, or we lightened, or enlightened ourselves. It is part of life.

"Higher vibrational energies are freer. When energy is free, it can move, grow, expand, and create.

"The highest vibration is love. Love is the vibration of peace, understanding, acknowledgment, respect; all of the things which allow us to exist with a positive opportunity, meaning freely. Love is the vibration which allows us to be free from attachment.

"Lower vibrational energies have a hard time moving. They have a hard time being free. They are more solid.

"Not everyone understands who and what we are: conscious energy in a body.

"If you ask a person on the street, 'What are you?' they are not going to say, 'I'm a conscious being here to express love.' In essence, that is their greatest positive possibility."

Messages from Randy on The Other Side

Messages from Randy on The Other Side

I belong to a small group in which several people channel messages. Those of you who read this blog regularly may remember that one of our group, Randy, passed away in March. In the years prior to his passing, he had brought through many enlightening messages from the non-physical universe. He had also worked as a veterinarian, assisting animals and their humans. His gift of connection allowed him to channel healing energy into the animals' bodies.

When Randy crossed, everyone was shocked. He had been fine one day, laid down to rest, and hadn't gotten up. Jarring. How could this have happened?

Since then, our group has connected with Randy and he has shared a few messages. One message was that he was as surprised as anyone that he had died. He hadn't had a clue this was coming. He had just slipped over.

It's like a miracle to have someone so close to us who is on the other side and is willing to answer my questions. I asked Randy what happened when he crossed over. We often hear that people greet us and escort us through a tunnel of light. Then, there is a life review. Did any of this happen?

This was our exchange:

Gail: I have a question for Randy about what happened after he crossed over. Was he greeted by people? Was there a life review? What happened?

The channeler, as Randy, answered: It's as individual as each person. For me, personally, it was an unknowing. For me, personally, it was a surprise. For me, personally, it was a vibration and a feeling that greeted me, not necessarily a person who greeted me. For me, it was more of a knowing and an understanding. This is how I've lived my life. This is the scientific way I have looked at things and felt things. I felt the welcome and the surprise element at the same time. That is how I was greeted, but that was unique for me.

Gail: Did you see the animals you knew?

Randy: And then some.

Channeler: It's as if I see the animals, and then some. The feeling. It's as if his eyes tear up because he sees more than the animals. He sees the difference he made. He sees how they were touched. He sees much more than the animals and he has tears in his eyes.

I think he's touched and awed. He felt he was a mere human. He felt he had done the best he could, but it might not have been enough. Now he understands what transpired with the animals. A remarkable settling within.

Gail: Good. Does he have anything else to share with us?

Channeler, as Randy: There is no particular wisdom in me that is not already in you. There is no particular answer or key that I can give you. It is all an individual life development. As you grow on your path, you will know it and you will see it and you will feel it. There is nothing to regret and nothing to reach for. All is at the same time. This is what they meant when they said that you are living your lives simultaneously. All at the same point. All that has changed is the vibration, but I'm no more real, no more wiser, no more healthier. I am who I am. I am just as I was on the earth plane, only on a different level on which you may not be able to be as aware of my presence, but I am of yours.

Gail: Well, we miss having you in our room, here in the physical world.

Randy: Thank you.

--

I want to know everything. I ask a lot of personal questions. I am very grateful to everyone who shares their answers with me knowing that they may be posted for the world to read.

The Importance of Sending Love

Quotes from a Channeled Message - Sending Love Energy

Things are blowing in the world. Your home may be safe, but your neighbor's not so much. There may be peace and tranquility, health and well-being, in your home, and discomfort in another's home. Send love and well-being to everyone around you for you don't know the burdens they carry on their shoulders when they appear to be doing so well.

Sending love changes souls. It changes lives. You were put here to coexist, to help and assist each other, not to be islands.

When you send out thoughts, vibrations, feelings and emotions, be sure that they are sweet, kind, and light because you will meet them again and not always in the time and space in which you were anticipating (this is karma).

If you do nothing else, do not add to the debris of vibration that is already out there. Many people send out vibrations without understanding how strong their thoughts or their feelings are, or how those thoughts come into fruition. It is almost like giving your most potent destructive or creative energy to someone who doesn't know what they are creating when they throw a tantrum.

Do your best to send love and positive energy. It is the right thing to do.

Hospice Help

Hospice Help

At the last Psychic Fair, I met a pediatric nurse who psychically communicates with babies and toddlers. She understands why they are here and why they are ill. She helps them heal. If healing is not possible, she walks them to the edge of the Veil. To the edge of the Veil. Wow. I gave her my card and I hope she contacts me so we can talk again.

I've spoken with a few hospice workers who have shared phenomenal stories with me. One woman told me that at the moment of death, she feels the soul leave. When she actually sees the soul exit the body, it looks like a mist.

There is a quick whoosh out of the body as the soul departs. Sometimes, the soul hangs around after death, but it always leaves the body quickly.

People who are passing need a soft, supportive energy. There shouldn't be any drama in the room. They know what they need to do, and they need a supportive environment in which to do it. By choice, they often pass when their loved one is out of the room. They don't want the loved one's last memory to be of them gasping for breath.

The hospice volunteer I met a few years ago told me that dying people ask her questions. She turns the questions around and rephrases them because people know the answers. Someone might ask, "Will my daughter be okay after I pass?" She will respond, "What do you think?" They are clearing out issues before they go.

She suggests that when holding hands with someone who is passing, the dying person's hand should be placed on top of friend's hand so the friend can't hold the person back.

If you work with hospice and have had interesting experiences, I would love to hear from you. I was recently told, "Everyone who works with hospice has these kinds of experiences. It is one of the reasons they do it."

I learn so much when people share their experiences with me. I want to thank each of you for your willingness to add to our understanding of life.

Quote from Karreen - Connecting

I asked Karreen Martin how she connects with her client's energy. This is her answer:

"Visually, I connect right away. I look in the eyes. I look at the face. I look at the skin tone. Eyes tell me a lot. Then I connect with my Guides and angels and I become neutral to give them the messages they need. Then I connect with their angels and Guides and ask permission to communicate on a spirit level. I also ask for permission on the physical level.

"From there, I can use my Tarot cards or pendulum, or people can simply ask questions. Clients can ask whatever they need to know, especially something for soul level healing. It can't be spying into people's lives. It has to be something on a spirit level to raise their vibration. It doesn't matter if the people have passed away or if they are still here. They can ask any question and Spirit will answer it.

"My gift is pendulum work. That is how I hear Spirit; that's how I channel it. Sometimes, I would like to do it another way, through writing or talking, but Spirit says, "This is your gift. This is what you must use." It's very natural to me. It's simple and easy. No stress, no worry.

"People get answers and their whole face shifts. I could take a picture before and after the session, and they would look different. They have shifted. Their vibration has been raised. It stops the worry, the fret, the indecision, and maybe some of the guilt or pain. It helps them let go. "

Thank you, Karreen!

Banking Good Will

Banking Good Will

When someone could use a little help, we often send them "good vibes." We hold them in love and light. We send them the energy to do whatever it is they need to do for their growth, with ease and grace. From our viewpoint, we can't know why people choose various roles, problems, or issues, but we can wish them success in their endeavors.

The energy we send can give them the boost they need to re-align themself with their greatest good. Perhaps they are ready to give up. The extra energy from an outside source might give them the strength to soldier on.

However, this loving assistance only works if the person is willing to accept the helping hand. "Accepting" means that their total being accepts the energy. It's not just a mind/brain decision. Everyone has free will and can decide whether or not to accept outside energy. In addition, for things to work out, their choice must be in alignment with their life plan.

When we talk about someone not being willing to accept energy, we are not necessarily talking about a conscious decision. We are talking about someone desiring encouragement, then thinking maybe they really aren't worthy of a positive outcome, or they are not sure what they want. Doubts and negative self-talk creep in.

If we all sat together and prayed for somebody, the energy would be available to them, although we might not see our desired outcome. If we sent healing energy and the person didn't want to heal, it wouldn't happen. It's their choice.

If the individual isn't willing to accept the outside energy right now, what happens to that energy? It is stored and can be accessed at a later date. It never goes away. It is as if the good will goes into a bank. Later, when they are ready, they can withdraw the support.

People can assist each other on the physical level, and non-physical energies can also send aid. A deceased relative, angel, teacher, or Spirit Guide can help someone on the physical plane. Their power can add to the person's energy, and help the person manifest their goals (if he or she accepts the energy).

It's as if each person's aura forms a flame. When one person's flame flickers or diminishes, another entity's flame can touch and strengthen it. Think of a candle lighting ceremony at a wedding. Each person lights their candle, but when the flames combine to light a third candle, a stronger, brighter light bursts forth.

If you need assistance, ask. Then be open to accepting energy from the physical and spiritual planes. Physical and non-physical assistance both work the same way. If we are willing to accept the gift, the extra boost of energy can help us achieve our goals.

Let me know if this rings true for you.

Quote from a Channeling - Abundance

Quote from a Channeled Message - Abundance

"We were not meant to live here in scarcity. We were not put here to get another job. We were not put here to work harder.

"We are here to manifest abundance, prosperity, well-being, health, knowledge, intuition, gifts of spirit, with thought in every breath we take. It is believing it. It is knowing it. It is not trusting and hoping. That is a whole different level. It is a knowing that it is your divine birthright, and demanding and commanding."

Magic in the Mundane

Announcement: The Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair will be held this Sunday, May 7, from 9 AM until 4 PM at the DoubleTree Inn across from Reid Park in Tucson, AZ. I will be set up at the Fair with all kinds of merchandise. I hope to see you there.

Magic in the Mundane

You never know how Spirit is going to show up in your life.

I live a pretty mundane life. Lots of domesticity: grocery stores, cooking, family time, bill paying. Right now, the laundry is in the washer. I like this life because it allows time for me to think and write. Composing requires quiet concentration. I love the part of my day when I can meditate, open a computer file, and draft something. Lately, I've been working on John Hunter's interview which is why you've seen his quotes showing up on the blog. His crazy-good story is like a movie playing in my subconscious.

Last week I received a message, through a psychic, that my quiet life is not as unremarkable as I imagine. She said:

"It feels as if there is a vibrational energy, very ground-basic, taking care of your home. As if you are cleaning and sweeping, and the broom you are using is made of sticks and twigs. A very simple element that you think is part of a mundane thing that you are doing, but Spirit shows you doing it while Spirit dances all around you on an upper level. You are busy taking care of the things that you consider important and your job, and what you do, but if you were to look up for a minute, you would see how Spirit dances around you. Spirit fills your head. Spirit guides you, illumines you, and gives you creative ideas. While you are busy doing the little mundane things that you think are your job in life, you are creating on the thought vibration. You need ‘down time' to write because there is so much happening in the creative realm.

"You are very good at quoting other individuals. It would be wonderful if you were to interview yourself and allow the mirth of Spirit to come through to you. It dances all around you, in your thoughts, all the time.

"I leave that with you and bless you."

Thank you.

A lovely message. It gives me hope.

Then, there's sleep. Ah, sleep. We all do it. It's a third of our life; pretty routine. Yet, we never know what might happen when we open to the dream world.

Recently, a friend shared this story. I won't use her name, but it doesn't matter. This kind of thing might happen to anyone.

My friend's daughter-in-law (DIL) was pregnant for the second time. The first baby had been delivered by C-section and the second baby was planned to arrive via C-section. A delivery date had been set.

Then, my friend had a dream that the baby was born vaginally, not by C-section. In the dream, the daughter-in-law freaked out at the idea of a vaginal birth. She demanded her C-section!

My friend told the DIL about the dream and it upset the woman. The DIL was going to have a C-section no matter what. No vaginal birth. My friend was told to stop talking about the dream because it upset people. In my friend's mind, she was sharing this dream not to upset people, but to mentally prepare the DIL for what might happen.

The morning of the C-section, the DIL went into labor. Surgery was moved up. You know where this story is going. The baby arrived so quickly there was no time for a C-section. The prophetic dream had come to pass. Though she had fought the idea, at least the DIL had an inkling of what might transpire.

Things happen when we sleep. Things happen when we meditate. Things happen as we live our lives. Sometimes we are aware of our connection to the spiritual world and sometimes we are just enjoying a quiet moment when magic arrives. It's wonder-ful.

Thanks for listening. If you have a story to share, please send it to gail@MyPsychicSearch.com.
